Opening Times and Fees

Westview & Shambles Day Nursery is open Monday to Friday throughout the year except bank holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year.

Nursery hours: 7.00am to 6.30pm

Breakfast club: 7.00am - school drop off

After school club: 3.00pm - 6.30pm

Holidays and teacher training days: 7.00am - 6.30pm

We feel that children need to have continuity of care and the opportunity to build relationships.

A minimum morning session is 09:00-13:00 and a minimum afternoon session is 13:00-17:00.

Children must register within the nursery for a minimum of two separate sessions per week (this may be two mornings, two afternoons or a morning and an afternoon on separate days).

Fees

Westview & Shambles Day Nursery, as well as The Club, operate on an hourly basis.

The current rate is £8.60 per hour and includes nappies, drinks, snacks, specialist classes and all cooked meals. Parents are requested to supply formula milk or breast milk for babies.

Children eligible for the 15 hours entitlement must be registered for a minimum of two separate sessions; one eight-hour and one four-hour period. Children eligible for the 30 hours entitlement must be registered for a minimum of two nine-hour periods and one four-hour period.

Where children attend for these entitlement hours we will continue to provide additional services not covered by the entitlement, which will be chargeable and identified on monthly invoices. Breakdowns of the entitlement and extra charges are detailed within our prospectus.
